Wyoming does not currently use all the water it was allocated under the 1922 Colorado River compact. When I am Governor I will seek to remedy this. I will seek to build dams for the beneficial use of all of our water. I will support trans-Basin use to share water with the more arid or needful areas of our state.

The water that originates within the boundaries of our state belongs to us.

The North Platte River agreement and others will also be addressed from that standpoint.

Our water can be protected simply by enforcing the Constitution for the United States.  We will respect our neighbors but remain mindful of the obligation to protect our GOD given resources.
